Assassin’s Creed Odyssey took the ideas of Assassin’s Creed Origins and dialed them up to 11. With its enormous world, engrossing story, and for the first time, choice of protagonists, Assassin's Creed Odyssey reviews show it impressed many. However, players criticized the forced exploration and level grinding, sometimes complaining that it 74 comments. Best. Sanunes • 3 yr. ago. I would say Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla are all pretty similar if you want to try any of them. There are differences between them all for the combat is similar, but at the same time all have a different approach. Its hard for me to say if one is better or worse because I am not a huge fan of how open
Honestly, i didn't enjoy this one. Just like other ubisoft games. This game felt like a chore, majority of the side quest are repetitve, even the main storyline is repetitive and predictable. The only thing i enjoyed is the witcher like melee combat specially in nightmare difficulty. How much is Odyssey better than Origins?

Oct 12, 2021. #12. Origins has the best Story, Odyssey is the prettiest and Valhalla is the easiest to digest. I would suggest to play Valhalla first to see if you like to concept. Both Origins and Odyssey tend to get "hard" by level gating your progress. If you have no problem to do plenty of side quest ( Some good, plenty bad ) you can

When you boot up odyssey or origins you will notice the difference immediately because they are still only 30 fps. . But with origins and odyssey on series s and x you will get better graphics compared to if you played it on the one S.. But if you owned a xbox one X you will not notice any new graphics for origins or odyssey on the series S or X Syndicate is the last "classic" Assassin's Creed with the IMO superior fighting system. Yes, it's just Arkham style combat but it looks more spectacular and I overall prefer it over the jank that is Origins (I assume that Odyssey isn't much better). That said, I am currently really enjoying Syndicate after not enjoying Unity at all. So i haven't played or been interested in assassin's creed since a long time. I think my last AC i finished was 3 and an hour of black flag or so. Black flag uses to run terribly at my pc back than so it was not pleasant to play. I think i got tired of just mashing buttons or waiting counter button and killing them off one by one like flies. But objectively Odyssey is better and I think it has better replay value then Valhalla plus I love the Greek mythology angle with the mini bosses you can hunt. The huntable minibosses in Valhalla fell short in comparison. It feels more like an Assassin's Creed game too, though not as much as Origins.

Odyssey is more grand and epic, has more engaging characters, a more beautiful landscape, an actual ship, a more interesting map, the DLCs are better. Just like Valhalla it's a bad Assassin's Creed but unlike Valhalla it's an incredible open world adventure game with role-playing elements. Odyssey.
