if folder fallout new vegas is empty, delete it. if folder fallout new vegas is NOT empty, you had mods? rename the folder to something else. this should clear up any steam files on your pc that contain which version is present. go to folder Documents\My Games. rename folder FalloutNV to something else in case there are save files you wish to keep.

So I had a friend gift me the basic New Vegas, but neither of us realized there was some region locked bull with the game and I couldnt get and DLC with that version, so I snagged the Ultimate edition. I reacently bought the Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition and all the boxes for DLC in the data files are checked, The problem is the DLC is loading for my first file, but when I make a new character(New Game), the main DLC (Old world blues ect) doesn't load for the new characters.

I own the ultimate edition of fallout new vegas and it wont download my dlcs off of disc 2 and disc 1 has stopped working all together I have deleted them from my drive tried reinstalling them and nothing is working the discs arent damaged at all and i lost all of my saves, i have 1700 hrs invested and its just gone.
